For Bibi van der Velden’s flagship store, we designed a secret curiosity cabinet that turns the act of discovery into an experience.
Visitors step through a cave-like opening and encounter a deep-green cabinet filled with extraordinary objects and jewels: as if uncovering a precious stone carved from the rock itself.
The space feels intimate, almost hidden, inviting you to pause and explore.
The cabinet can be moved, and its double doors open to reveal two hidden chambers. Behind sculpted layers of ‘excavated’ forms, the most exceptional jewels appear, each one revealed like a rare find.
This boutique is not just a store: it is a journey of discovery, filled with unexpected moments, secret spaces, and uniquely curated treasures.
